Alligator Room
Welcome to preschool!
Kids learn
so much in their first years of life, and the Alligator teachers challenge
the kids each day to learn more so that they will be successful in
Kindergarten.
The Alligators have a busy schedule that includes circle time, letter work,
number work, math activities, outside time, free play time, going for walks,
playing at Sertoma Park, and much more. Below is a specific list of
activities the Alligators work on each day:
* Singing Songs
*Tying shoes
*Recognizing and writing letters & numbers
*Saying and writing phone numbers and addresses
*Days of the Week
* Months of the Year
* Writing first and last name
* Counting 1-100
* Sight Reading Books
As you can see the Alligators are busy learning each
minute of the day through a game, an activity, or play. Also the Alligators
take field trips to enhance their learning through the community. The staff
for this room is a one to ten ratio.
