Dolphin Room
Back to school or out for the summer, the Dolphin room
always has something exciting and engaging to take part in.
Back to School:
Our daycare provides after school care throughout the school year. We pick
up and take kids to and from six of the surrounding area schools. When the
Dolphins are out of school for the day, the teachers plan relaxing
activities so that the Dolphins can unwind from the day. Some activities
include a homework time, snack, free play, group game, and a variety of more
activities.
Summers Out:
The Dolphin teachers plan a complete summer program to keep the Dolphins
engaged and having fun throughout the summer. They do a variety of
activities that are included in the following list:
* Swimming at Kuehn Pool - 3 days a week
* Field trips to a variety of places in Sioux Falls - 1 day a week
* Community Activities/Sertoma Park - 1 day a week
* Group Games
* Group Reading
* Individual Reading
* Circle Time
* Spanish - various words, phrases, & numbers
Along with the activities listed above, the Dolphins will have individual
time with a teacher to work on brain teasers, reading, math, and various
other learning activities.
The Dolphins are a busy class during the year, and we hope you can come and
join the fun.
